Your roofing and vinyl siding may have incurred some damage from the recent storms. You may or may not be able to see the damage. Hail and high winds can damage your roof, siding, gutters and more. Home owners love our clean, "New roof, No Mess" approach. We protect your landscaping and minimize mess by utilizing the Roofers Buggy, an innovative solution for fast, effective, clean roofing jobs.

Siding

If you need to replace siding, it's a good possibility new siding may not match your existing siding. Many manufacturers change or discontinue siding products over time. Plus, both aluminum and vinyl siding tends to fade from weather exposure. If you need to replace even one piece of siding or have some damage to your aluminum siding replaced, you may be eligible for full replacement of your existing siding through your insurance company. Contact Best Contracting and let us evaluate your situation.

Seamless Gutters

Unfortunately, gutter systems take more abuse from extreme weather conditions, particularly ice and snow, than any other component of the building envelope. They are also subject to damage from ladders and being stepped on, as well as from falling tree limbs and debris. In heavy snow areas, snow guards should be used to prevent gutter tear-off. Vertical leaders (downspouts) are used to capture and distribute rain water to storm drainage systems, or by means splash blocks, to areas away from the building's foundation walls to prevent the build up of water in the soil and possible resulting structural or basement moisture problems.

Without gutters on your home, rainwater running off your roof would continue to settle alongside your home's foundation allowing water to seep in causing deterioration and compromising the soundness of your block foundation. Unchecked rainwater runoff will also ruin paint, stain your siding and can often ruin patios and walkways especially if you live in an area subject to ice, snow and freezing temperatures. All gutter systems are custom made at your home to the specific length required for each section. Gutters are available in a huge variety of colors to beautify your home.

Ridge Vents

Problems in the attic can quickly lead to problems on the roof if air is not allowed to circualte and exhaust properly. With a very small investment, you can help your roof "breathe easy" with ridge vents available through Best Contracting. We offer Shingle Vent II This product proves that outstanding beauty and performance can be combined. Design features include an external baffle and internal weather filter for optimum airflow and weather protection. Less than an inch in height, this molded, high-impact copolymer shingle-over ridge vent permits capping of the ridge with shingles like the rest of the roof. ShingleVent II is a shingle-over ridge vent. The vent is installed across the ridge of the roof. The vent is 12" wide so that matching shingles can be installed over the vent, allowing the vent to appear almost invisible from the ground. Aluminum Ridge Vent. Versatile and flexible one-piece aluminum design enables Multi-Pitch FilterVent to fit roofs with 3/12 to 12/12 pitches. This ridge vent combines advanced design with simple, secure installation to provide outstanding performance.

Multi-Pitch FilterVent is a molded aluminum ridge vent that is available in a variety of colors and bronze and zinc. The vent is installed across the entire ridge of the roof, creating a smooth line capping off the ridge.
It is estimated that 9 out of 10 homes in North America do not have proper attic ventilation. Why? Because most people are unaware that attic ventilation can impact the longevity of their entire home!
For example, in the summer , an improperly ventilated attic can cause heat to build in excess of 160°F. This superheated air eventually penetrates the ceiling insulation into the living area below.
